 Applications for the World Affairs Seminar
are OPEN for submission!

A fully-funded Lake Oswego Rotary scholarship

This is a one-week convention from Saturday, June 20th to Friday, June 26th at Carroll University in Waukesha, Wisconsin, a suburb of Milwaukie, WI. Teens from all over the world – 30 countries – although primarily from the U.S. who are in their sophomore and junior years in high school will meet to hear experts speak, discuss in small groups, take field trips, and complete a Capstone project for a life changing cultural and educational experience.

Students from Lakeridge and LOHS are eligible to participate in the 43rd World Affairs Seminar held in Waukesha, Wisconsin, a suburb of Milwaukie. The cost of the transportation and Seminar including food and shuttles to Carroll University are paid in full by the Lake Oswego Rotary. Students will interact with their peers from around the world. Ideal candidates will be either sophomores or juniors in good academic standing with an interest in global issues.

Educational Excellence

The Rotary Club of Lake Oswego presented its annual SASEE Awards before a sold out crowd at a banquet on February 26, 2020 at the Tualatin Country Club. The SASEE is the most prestigious award presented to students, educators, and citizens who support education in Lake Oswego. Twelve indi-viduals received the SASEE award at the event, in addition to nine finalists.

36th Annual Lobster Feed and Charity is now: Lobster To-Go!

"We're Clawing Our Way Back!" This year, the event will be held on July 25, 2020 as a "to-go" lobster dinner option, benefiting many local charities!

Lake Oswego Rotary and Lakewood Center for the Arts conduct this annual fundraiser to provide assistance to projects that benefit our community. Sign up for your "Lobster to go" at
